Summary: OK but some inaccuracies
Comment: We walked the Ridgeway in summer '08 and found this book fairly helpful. The route is really well signposted so you'd struggle to get lost but there was some useful information on things along the way including accomodation. However a number of the maps have clear inaccuracies (slopes the wrong way round and mis-labelled) which were briefly confusing! The walk is recommended - we did it in 5 days - and were passed by two youngsters doing it in 2.
