Summary: OK if you're a seasoned rambler with backpack of supplies and water!
Comment: We set off on Saturday to do one of the easier 4½ mile walks near Swinsty reservoir. This was due to take us 2½ to 3 hours. 5 hours later, having cut short the walk we arrived back at the car park. The problem was a lack of directions and waymarks (possibly covered up by farmers?). We went miles out of our way, although the vague directions given did seem to make sense at the time. The book is now in a recycling bin.

Summary: Outstanding value
Comment: David Leather is a familiar name to anyone who has read his series of "Walkers' Guides" to the Dales. If you have those other books, you probably won't need this one, but as a standalone it provides a wonderful range of walks over the whole Park area, lovingly described by who I would consider to be the best and most knowledgeable author on the region. Anyone who doesn't know the Dales well (and even those that do) would profit handily from this purchase. First Class!
