Summary: Great map -- even better with a GPS!
Comment: My family and I drove around Normandy for a week this past May, and I have firsthand experience using this map. It's an excellent purchase, and has all the narrow provincial roads labeled well.
Fortunately, we had a GPS with us. Personally, after a week of navigating narrow country lanes that winded and looped, changing names every so often, with poor signage, I know I would still be lost in the "bocage" without that GPS!
But there are always times when the GPS acts a little bit funny, and you just need a map check for reality. That's when this Michelin map came in quite handy. Easy to use, well-constructed, bursting with info, and all clearly labeled in pleasing colors.
I would highly recommend this map if you are planning on driving with a map only (but get an even more detailed map, as well, for when you are lost in the countryside). I would also recommend this as the perfect supplment for a GPS-guided trip.
