Editorial Reviews:
Another installment in the Hemispheres magazine travel series, Three Perfect Days: London takes you on a whirlwind tour of classic London. Crafted for the first-class traveler, Three Perfect Days makes sure to cover all the bases, both those familiar (Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Harrod's) and those little secrets that make London special to those who live there (corner pubs, trendy eateries, bidding at Sotheby's, and strolls along the canal). Each day is packed with an ambitious amount of sightseeing, some of it seemingly impossible: Tower of London, St Paul's Cathedral, and a tour of the reproduction of the Globe Theatre, all before lunch! Suggested arrival times for certain locations prove quite useful, since you would hope to avoid queues if you're going to stick to this crowded itinerary. The armchair traveler could tire just watching the dizzying pace the program keeps. However, perky on-site host Mary Dilts will tell you when it's time to rest with a pint or a cup of tea or head back to your suite at Claridges. Three Perfect Days is better viewed as an entrée to London travel and potential than as a didactic guide since it offers no maps or end list of sights seen and visited such as Rick Steve's travel series on Europe does. --Gilia Angell
Spotlight customer reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: FairComment: Fairly good, could of been much better. Very nice Photography, very limited information about things to do with too much emphasis on certain stores and hotels instead of sights. Note - This video is only about 22 minutes long. Subtract the intro and closing and you only have about 15 minutes of usable information.
